Day 11 . the Vinci area, Tuscany

 Today was a day off, a sleeping in, a day for swimming in the pool,

 and a day for walking through the property

 

 and lanes around the farm.

Our companions walked the 5 km past geese and sheep, farmers working their vineyards, and olive groves to Cerreto Guidi, where they shopped, visited the museum and had coffee.

We wandered around the farm, picking wildflowers,

listening to and watching  the doves, finches, cuckoos and herons, and exploring the vineyards and olive groves.

 

  We also took lots of photos.  A truly relaxing day.
